Counterpart International – Afghanistan / Afghan Civic Engagement Program (ACEP) The Purpose of the Women Empowerment and Youth Activism Grants is to promote a sense of responsibility, activism and public interest activities. Women Empowerment and Youth Activism grant awarded to Technical Education and Skill Training Organization on its expertise and experience in the areas of Women and Youth Empowerment and Activism, women’s rights, promoting women and youth participation and leadership, promoting volunteerism among youths, and improving women and youth access to the resources and skills. Illustrative grant activities and priorities may include initiatives focused on improving implementation of the Elimination of Violence against Women (EVAW) law. Addressing violence against women, and community based initiative focused on women empowerment.
